‘Visionary Sharma’ – Twitter hails Rohit Sharma as his 11-year-old tweet on Suryakumar Yadav surfaces
Suryakumar Yadav made his international debut only in February last year. At that time, a lot of fans breathed a sigh of relief as he was finally getting his reward for doing well in domestic cricket. Since then, he has established himself in white-ball cricket, especially T20Is. Meanwhile, India’s regular skipper Rohit Sharma’s 11-year-old tweet on the right-hander is going viral.
His old tweet reads “Just got done with BCCI awards here in chennai..some exciting cricketers coming up..Suryakumar yadav from Mumbai to watch out for in future!.”

In T20 cricket, a hundred is really special: Suryakumar Yadav
Since July this year, the Mumbaikar has hit two centuries in T20I cricket. The first came against England, albeit in a losing cause. On the other hand, the second one that came against New Zealand proved more than enough to win the game. The Men In Blue won by 65 runs. Meanwhile, talking about his hundred he said that a hundred in T20 cricket is special. He also explained the plans he had while batting.
“In T20 cricket a hundred was really special, but it was also important for me to bat till the end, Hardik told me. We needed a score of 190-195 and happy we got there. We had a word in the 16th over that we wanted to take it deep with only Hooda and Washington to follow. I’ve been doing the same thing in the nets and all practice sessions.
