MS Dhoni helps a young cricketer
Jharkhand Jatra a Twitter handle recently posted a video of MS Dhoni. The former Indian captain was seen riding his bike on the roads. What made the video more spectacular was the fact that the pillion rider was a young man with a kit bag.
The Twitter Jharkhand Jatra wrote “Nothing to see here. Just #MS Dhoni living his best semi-retired life and a very lucky young cricketer who got a lift” The Twitter handle mentioned the brand of bike Dhoni was driving.

Jharkhand Jatra further captioned the 45-second video and wrote “Can you believe that MS Dhoni gave a lift to a young cricketer on bike in Ranchi”. In the video, a young man can be seen holding his phone as he is sitting pillion. The former Indian captain can be seen driving the bike. At the start of the video, the young man in question is seen showing MS Dhoni with his kit bag.
MS Dhoni on Thursday celebrated 16 years of his first game as captain. It was the 2007 T20 World Cup where the then 26-year-old made his impression. After the washout against Scotland, India had to win against Pakistan to progress.
The match ended in a tie as the game went into a bowl-out. MS Dhoni showed his presence as he had Sehwag, Harbhajan, and Robin Uthappa bowl. All the 3 Indian players hit the target, while the Pakistanis missed.
MS Dhoni went on to lose the next game to New Zealand but beat England and South Africa to make it to the final. After beating Australia in the final four games, India faced Pakistan yet again. In a close and thrilling contest, India came out winners by 5 runs as they claimed the first-ever T20 World Cup.
