Watch: Pakistan fan threatens to ‘beat up’ Babar Azam, video goes viral
Since Pakistan’s loss to Zimbabwe, the 2009 winners have been under severe criticism. While the team has very less chance of qualifying for the semis, a lot of former cricketers have been pointing out flaws in the team. On the other hand, Pakistan fans across the globe have been extremely upset after the loss. Meanwhile, a fan has literally threatened the Pakistan skipper Babar Azam.
In a video that is going viral, a fan was absolutely angry after Pakistan’s loss. He said that would reach the Pakistan team’s hotel and beat up Azam. “Babar Azam main tere hotel aariyan hai, jutiyan maran, mainu tere room da number pata lag gya hai. Phauch tu hotel” (Babar Azam, I am coming to your hotel to beat you up. I know your room number) the fan was seen yelling in Punjabi.

Meanwhile, after the loss, Azam took responsibility and said that the team didn’t bowl well. He also hopes that the team doesn’t well in the next three games.
“As a captain, I accept that we didn’t play well, especially since we didn’t bat the way we should’ve batted today,” he said.
“We are much better than how we played today,” the Pakistani captain said.
“We will try to do well in the next three games and try to win them convincingly and improve our NRR and stay in contention to play the semi-final,” he hoped.
“We did not bowl the way we should’ve bowled in the first six overs and allowed them to score quick runs, though we made a comeback and did well to restrict them to 130,” he said.
“But then, while chasing, our batting collapsed after Shadab’s wicket, and that’s where we lost the game; it was due to batting line collapse,” the Pakistan captain said.
