RCB fans turned out in great numbers to support their team in the ongoing WPL 2024. RCB women are playing their first match in the ongoing season against Gujarat Giants. Most of the league stage matches of the WPL 2024 will be taking place at M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru, the home ground of RCB. For obvious reasons, there were a lot of fans in the stadium.
On the official handle of WPL, it was revealed that the tickets for the match were completely sold out. RCB fans are regarded as some of the best in the world. They proved the same by filling the stadium. Their cheers helped the players to give their best in the middle. The fans took to Instagram and other social media handles to express their happiness regarding the tournament.

The fans were seen in the bike in groups on their way to the stadium. Some of the fans were seen chanting the name of RCB while others were cheering for Smriti Mandhana. There was a great atmosphere around the stadium. The official handle of the tournament shared the video where the fans were awaiting the start of the match with cheers for one of the most popular teams in the globe.
RCB women post 157 runs against Gujarat Giants
Gujarat Giants won the toss and elected to bowl first. The decision of Meg Planning proved to be good as the bowlers got the early wickets of RCB. At one stage, the home side was reduced to 57/3. That was when Richa Ghosh joined S Meghana and framed a crucial partnership for the 4th wicket. The duo smashed the bowlers of Gujarat Giants all around the park.
Both the batters registered a fifty and rescued RCB from a potential collapse. Richa was the pick of the batters who scored 62 runs. Meghana anchored the innings before getting perished. For the Giants, Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Sophie Ecclestone were good with the ball. Grace Harris was brilliant too. Giants have a tricky target to chase ahead of them.
