Shubman Gill and Sara Tendulkar dating rumours have been speculated for a few years now. While some rumours stated that Gill was dating Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan rather than Sara Tendulkar, the Kedarnath star revealed on Koffee With Karan that he was dating Sara Tendulkar. The claims of Gill and Sara dating originate from a recent video that has become popular on social media.
Sara was photographed with Gill‘s sister Shahneel Gill, which re-ignited the rumours about Sara and Shubman’s relationship status. In the early hours of Sunday, the two were observed in a car, which aroused fans’ interest. During a World Cup match, fans mocked Shubman Gill with Sara Tendulkar’s name, leading Virat Kohli to intervene and urge for using the player’s real name as it appears on his shirt. The two were then seen exiting a Jio World Plaza event together, struggling to avoid the paparazzi’s lens.
Fans are eagerly awaiting further confirmation from Sara and Shubman; the question remains: may their friendship develop into something more? Gill is worried, as he has been selected to India’s squad for the first two Tests against England. He also played in the home T20I series against Afghanistan but did not make the Playing XI, as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma returned to the shortest format. Rohit opened alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Kohli batted at number three in the second and third T20Is, Team India’s final two international T20 games before the T20 World Cup this year.
The Test series is the final assignment for the Men in Blue as after that they will have their eyes on the T20 World Cup. However the squad has not been finalised yet and a lot will be dependent on the Indian Premier League (IPL) form of the players in terms of selection to the 15-man side.
