There was a time when it was rumored that something might be cooking between Rishabh Pant and Urvashi Rautela. It all started after the latter in an interview, said that a man by the initials of ‘RP’ came to visit her but she couldn’t meet him. In reply, Pant uploaded an Instagram story past midnight and alleged Rautela of trying to make cheap fame without taking her name.

What followed after this was the exchange of words without taking each other’s name. Ahead of the 20-20 World Cup 2022, the Bollywood actress took a flight to Australia and started posting a series of pictures with some catchy captions. It looked like all her posts were directed towards India’s wicketkeeper batter. However, after a while, she disclosed the name of ‘RP‘. At this point, it was clear, and looked like everything is going back to normal.

However, a Punjabi TV show has given this a new lease of life. Apparently, India’s opening batter, Shubman Gill was a guest on the show. In the show, the host asked the right-hander about the rumor. To which, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21 winning member gave an answer which might create a bit of a controversy here.

Talking about Gill, he is part of the T20I and ODI squad for the tour of New Zealand. On November 18, he might have made his debut in the shortest format of the game. However, the game was washed out due to rain. However, he might get another opportunity on November 20. On the other hand, Pant played only two games during the World Cup and couldn’t do much with the bat. In the ongoing series, he would be looking to earn his place with his performances.
