Riyan Parag is known as a young batter from the Rajasthan franchise in the Indian T20 League. However, he has failed to deliver his best form yet for his franchise in this rich-vein league. But, now he shared a cryptic message on his Twitter account.

In the last edition of the Indian T20 League, his Rajasthan franchise finished second. They lost to the eventual champions Gujarat Titans in the final. But, throughout the league, he failed to deliver consistent performance while batting in the middle order.

Speaking of the shared Tweet, Parag wrote: “Sometimes when you’re in a dark place… you think you’ve been buried, but actually, you’ve been Planted.” However, Indian fans also reacted to his message. They thought that he might be sharing such a message for not getting picked for the recently concluded ODI series against Zimbabwe for India.

Speaking of his recent form, Riyan Parag just scored 189 runs in 14 innings, at an average of 16.63. He scored those mount of runs with a strike rate of 138.63. However, he smashed a 56* inning against the Bangalore franchise. The inning came off only 31 balls in that match.

Speaking of the recently concluded three-match ODI series, India managed to clean sweep Zimbabwe. They then won the first two matches convincingly. But, the final match was a thriller as India won by 13 runs. The Indian youngster Shubman Gill scored his maiden ODI ton in the last match of the series. He scored 130 runs off 97 balls, including 15 boundaries and one six. In reply, Zimbabwe got bundled out for 276 runs in 49.3 overs. Sikandar Raza scored another hundred while chasing. But, it went in vain as Zimbabwe failed to cross the final line. Now, India will be in action again in the upcoming Asia Cup. They will kick off their campaign on 28 August 2022 against their arch-rivals Pakistan.
