‘Ye kaisa bura waqt hai jo guzar hi nahi Raha’ – Fans react after Riyan Parag posts cryptic Tweet after his back-to-back failures in IPL 2023
Rajasthan Royals’ young allrounder Riyan Parag, recently, shared a Tweet on his social media handle after another failure in IPL 2023 in the match against Gujarat Titans at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur. Parag didn’t have a great outing in the ongoing tournament so far as he has been able to score only 58 runs in the six matches at a poor average of 11.60 and a strike rate of 107.40.
Parag was also dropped from the playing XI for a few matches. However, he came out to bat as an impact player in the last game against GT. Yashasvi Jaiswal could only manage to score 4 runs off 6 balls. Parag came out to bat when RR were struggling, and it was a great opportunity for him to prove his worth and take his team to a respectable total but he couldn’t capitalize on the opportunity and registered another low score.
After the match, he posted a Tweet on his social media where he wrote, “Waqt acha ho ya bura Guzar he jata hai!”

GT continued their dominance over RR
Talking about the match, RR lost their winning momentum in IPL 2023 as they registered their second consecutive loss of the season. In the preceding game against Mumbai Indians, they failed to defend 212 runs at the Wankhede Stadium. While, in yesterday’s match against GT, RR decided to bat first after winning the toss.
However, GT bowlers proved their decision wrong as they bowled out RR for just 118 runs in 17.5 overs. Rashid Khan was the main anchor of GT’s bowling as he took 3 wickets in his four overs by conceding just 14 runs.
Powered by Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha’s opening partnership and skipper Hardik Pandya’s quickfire knock, GT chased the winning total in 13.5 over losing just 1 wicket.
RR, who were in the top of the points table a few days ago, are currently standing in the fourth position after winning five out 10 games played so far. The runners-up of the previous season still need to win three out of their remaining four matches to qualify for the playoffs.

The great @msdhoni once said, cricket is close to life. One day you’ll be on the top. Next day you may fall down badly. But one thing is constant! Keep moving and hope backing your strengths and hard work.
Your great days are coming champ. Don’t give up. Just relax.

When Kohli used to get out we used to see the regret/sadness in his face. When you get out you walk like a king. That’s where the difference is. Having attitude is not wrong but you know what now.

Isko koi samjhao, isko Rinku banna padega, Gulzar banke jyada aage nahi ja payega ye.
I know I should not judge him but other players also deserve chance if he is not performing.#JustSaying@IPL @rajasthanroyals @IamSanjuSamson— @manojCA (@6e24b3d48428406) May 5, 2023
