This young bowler did well for the Lucknow franchise. Mohsin Khan took 14 wickets in just nine matches, at an economy of 5.96. He impressed fans and former cricketers with his bowling abilities throughout that tournament. Still, it was not enough for him to get a maiden call-up to the Indian team.
Now, after Shami’s exclusion from the squad, selectors could try him as an option instead of Umesh Yadav. Being a left-arm fast bowler, he can give an extra advantage to the current India skipper Rohit Sharma ahead of the series against Australia. Although, Arshdeep Singh is already there in the final squad.
