This veteran spinner is another candidate whose inclusion in the squad has not impressed fans at all. In the Asia Cup, he was also a part of the squad. Youngster Ravi Bishnoi did well against Pakistan. Still, ahead of him, India gave chance to Ravichandran Ashwin. He played only two matches.
In those matches, he took two wickets at an average of 29.50. Hence, fans were not happy with his performance. Ahead of the selection, people were expecting not to see him ahead of Ravi Bishnoi. But, India again selected him as they put Bishnoi as one of the four stand-by players for the 20-20 World Cup.
