The Chennai franchise can look for this West Indian batter for the next season. In the last edition, Evin Lewis represented the Lucknow franchise. However, the team management got some criticism for using him at the number three or four position mostly. Throughout his career so far, he is known for his explosive batting at the top only.
For Lucknow, he played five innings and scored 73 runs. However, for Chennai, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway opened the innings. So, Chennai can use him as an opening option alongside Ruturaj or Conway. Apart from his batting, his fielding abilities can also help the team in crucial stages.
