‘Ap Pehle bhi yaha se khelte the?’: Fans decode conversation between Pujara and Rizwan

While India has been gripped by the action of the Indian T20 League 2022, Indian batter Cheteswar Pujara is out in England playing County Cricket. He is a part of the Sussex team and is displaying brilliant form there.
He scored his second double hundred of the current County season in Sussex’s last match against Durham. During his resilient knock of 203 runs off 334 deliveries, Pujara was involved in a 154 runs partnership with Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan. The partnership on the third day of the match put Sussex in a very strong position.
But apart from the brilliant partnership, something else grabbed the attention of the fans. Sussex posted a video of Rizwan having a conversation with Pujara during a training session ahead of day 3 of the match. The video went viral on social media very soon.

While the conversation was inaudible the fans did not waste time interpreting what the two were talking about. The results of what the fans deciphered are hilarious, to say the least.

Speaking of Pujara’s performance, with the double hundred against Durham, he became the second Indian batter after Mohammad Azharuddin to score two double hundreds in English County Championship. Pujara has been in a brilliant form in the tournament. Earlier, he scored a double hundred in his debut match for Sussex and followed it up with a century against Worcestershire.
Pujara’s impact in the match has been significant. Durham batted first in the match and scored 223 runs in the first innings. In reply, Sussex posted a massive total of 538 runs on the back of the double hundred by Pujara and a 79 runs knock by Mohammed Rizwan.
In the third innings of the match, Durham got off to a great start as their openers Alex Lees (105 runs off 262 balls) and Sean Dickson (186 off 290 balls) stitched a partnership of 313 runs. They eventually declared their innings at 364 for 3 and the match ended in a draw.
