Wasim Akram is known for his bowling. Throughout his career, he was an absolute match-winner for Pakistan. However, he also came up with some crucial runs for his team with the bat, batting down the order.

 Akram’s highest Test’s score is more than the Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar. His best is 257* runs while Sachin’s highest score is 248 runs in the Test match cricket. This fact is quite surprising considering his batting abilities and the number where he batted over the years for his team.
