‘Sir Don’t Go Home Yr Wife Is Waiting For You’ – Fans Troll David Warner After His Comment On Virat Kohli’s Latest Post On His Wife
David Warner is currently busy playing the three-match ODI series at home against Zimbabwe. On the other side, Virat Kohli is busy playing the ongoing Asia Cup for India in UAE. But, an interesting thing happened on 2 September 2022. He shared a lovely picture of his wife, Anushka Sharma on his social media handles like Instagram and Twitter.
He shared the picture with a caption: “My 🌎❤️”. Fans loved it as they started to share the same on the internet. But, David Warner also made a comment on that pots. He wrote: “Lucky man mate”. However, in response to that Virat Kohli also wrote: “I Know mate” with two emoticons of love. But, fans found David’s comment funny. Hence, they started to troll him in the comment section of that post.

David Warner also clarified his comment to the public after some time on that Virat Kohli’s post
Fans did not stop at all that seemed to misinterpret the comment completely. Warner replied to one of the fans in the comment section. Then, he clarified his intention behind the statement. He wrote: “We are very lucky to have supportive wives, It’s a saying we use in Australia like I would say I’m lucky to have Candice Warner. So, when we say to others, we say “You’re lucky, mate” or “You’re blessed, mate”. Interpretation is always going to be different.”
Speaking of both these players, Warner scored 94 runs off 96 balls during the third ODI match against Zimbabwe. Australia scored 141 runs only. Zimbabwe chased down the target in 39 overs by losing seven wickets. However, Australia lost the match by three wickets. On the other hand, Virat Kohli enjoyed two good matches in the Asia Cup 2022 so far. Against Pakistan, he scored 35 runs off 34 balls. But, against Hong Kong, he scored 59* runs off 44 balls. Now, Kohli will be in action again on 4 September 2022. India will take on archer-rivals Pakistan again in the super four.
