The Indian T20 League 2022: List of all the prize winners

The Indian T20 League 2022 saga came to end with the debutants Gujarat winning the title. Gujarat defeated Rajasthan by seven wickets in the final of the match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The two months marathon started with a clash between the last year’s finalists Kolkata and Chennai on the 26th of May. All the league stage matches of the tournament took place at four stadiums in the state of Maharashtra. While for the playoff stages and the final, the tournament shifted to Kolkata and Ahmedabad.
The four teams that qualified for the knockout stages after the grueling league stage matches were Gujarat, Rajasthan, Lucknow, and Bangalore. Rajasthan defeated Gujarat in Qualifier 1 to directly make it to the final of the tournament. While Rajasthan awaited the winner of the Eliminator between Lucknow and Bangalore to play Qualifier 2.
Bangalore defeated Lucknow in the Eliminator match and took on Rajasthan in the Qualifier 2. Rajasthan emerged victorious in Qualifier 2 and made it to the finals of the tournament to play Gujarat once again in the Narendra Modi Stadium at Ahmedabad.
In the final match, Rajasthan won the toss and decided to bat first. The batters of the Rajasthan camp struggled on the slowish pitch and just managed to put 130 runs on the board in their 20 overs. Gujarat while chasing the moderate total lost two wickets early but Hardik Pandya (34 of 30) and Shubman Gill (45 of 43) steadied the ship for the team. Later David Miller (32 of 19) consolidated on the foundation laid by Gill and Pandya and helped his team get across the line. With this Gujarat became the second team in the history of the tournament to win the maiden title in their debut season.
