India and England will play the second semifinal of the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022 at the Adelaide Oval on November 10. Talking about the Men In Blue, they have played five games, won four, and lost one. On the other hand, the Three Lions have played the same number of games that includes the washout against Australia. Apart from this, they won three and lost famously lost to European neighbors, Ireland.

The 2007 winners finished first in the Group Two of the Super 12 due to eight points in the kitty. On the other hand, the 2010 winners have seven points to their name and a higher Net Run Rate (NRR) compared to Australia which had the same number of points. 1. 1983 ODI World Cup semifinal

The Kapil Dev-led side came a long way from being the least contenders to win the tournament to play their maiden semifinal. On the other hand, the hosts were expected to play the final against the then-defending champions, West Indies.

However, as it turned out, the Three Lions were outclassed by the eventual champions of the tournament in Manchester. Batting first, the home team could only amass 213 in what was a 60-over game at the time. In reply, the eventual winners hunt down the target after losing only four wickets and more than five overs to spare.
