‘Pant bhai hai toh cutie’ – Fans react to Rishabh Pant adding a second date of birth to his Instagram bio
Team India and its devoted supporters are eagerly awaiting the return of their wicketkeeper-batsman as Rishabh Pant battles to recover from an injury that forced him to sit out. Videos of Pant’s training and recovery have received great feedback in the six months following his injury-causing, nearly fatal vehicle accident on December 31. Although there is no specific time for the 25-year-old’s comeback, his near-death accident has left him with injuries.
Rishabh Pant’s race against time!
Pant is in a battle versus time to fully recover even if the prospects are slim because the schedule of the World Cup 2023 in India, which will take place later this year, has been released. However, Pant has continued to train despite this. Pant has made significant progress in his rehabilitation from being bedridden, but still has a lengthier bridge to cross.
Due to this, Pant missed a lot more games, including the IPL and the World Test Championship final. The only thing for which he is thankful is Pant’s second inning, which he began after escaping the collision on the Delhi-Roorkee highway. However, on Wednesday, Pant updated his bio on Instagram with a fresh bit of information. He added a new piece of information on his Instagram bio which referred to his first successful surgery post the accident. He said, “Second D.O.B – 05/01/23.”
Pant was taken to Mumbai where he did undergo a successful knee ligament surgery after initially receiving care at Saksham Hospital in Roorkee and subsequently MAX, Dehradun. Pant tore all three major ligaments in his knee; two were repaired right away, and the third was fixed six weeks later. It had been predicted that Pant would miss the majority of 2023, but it is now being said that his recovery was going more quickly than anticipated. Pant was pain-free when he arrived at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, but his lower body’s strength and mobility remained a concern.
